Our approach to innovation involves our own team and private and public partners.

Focused R&D

Our R&D team have specific skills and carry out the following tasks:
design methods and products in collaboration with scientific partners within the parameters of eco-design
develop new technologies
analyse techniques
analyse and control gases
set up protocols to observe the evolution of aromatic molecules
research new designs
control quality at each stage of the design and manufacturing processes.

The Research Department at Holiste has been active in the creation of numerous patents in the field of cellular oxygenation, eccentric methods of muscle stimulation and the new resin harvesting process, Biogemme.

External partnerships

An interdisciplinary scientific approach

Before making any changes, or creating a new product, we always bring together a scientific and technical team who advise us on the pertinence of the project. We’ve established partnerships with researchers, academics, medical professors, health practitioners, societies etc.
Together we explore the fields of physics, electrostatics, organic chemistry or molecular biology.
Holiste also belongs to a group of researchers and academics who study electrical fields and electrostatic phenomena in the air to find out how they affect atmospheric pollution and the behavior of particles.
This is crucial as it confirms how relevant the Bol d’air’s role is in dealing with atmospheric pollution.

Scientific publications concerning Bol d’air
There are numerous scientific publications about the use of turpentine, some of which go as far back as Marcelin Berthelot’s in 1890. René Jacquier’s work was published in 1947.
There have been new works published since 2003, including Béatrice Mercier’s thesis, that have supported the Bol d’air’s natural method of oxygenation. The method doesn’t create free-radicals and may even increase anti radical defence mechanisms.

Collaborative projects
Holiste is piloting the programme “Biogemme Development” in collaboration with other enterprises. This collaborative and creative project centres around an ecological way of collecting pine resin from trees in forested areas.

The public funding of innovation
For more than 20 years, all our programmes of innovation have benefited from public funding. Holiste was awarded the “Stars et Métiers” prize in the category technological innovation.
